Organising a drink with Mike and meeting Nicola. Should hopefully see Jemma lots when she's back from America. So jealous. Im looking forward to seeing her again though, miss her lots.
Seeing the dentist on Friday though, which i'm not looking forward to. It means a very large needle and a drill and probably quite a bit of pain. It should only last around 10 minutes though and it'll be over.

As you can see above i'm getting there sloooowwwwly. I'll be ecstatic when it's done and I have some free time.
So it's been a while since I updated this so a lot to catch up on. Firstly I did meet up with Georgina, we went to TGI Friday and caught up a bit. She gave me a bear as a Christmas present, Bungle. I'll put a pic of him at the bottom of this entry. Anyway was nice to see Georgina again after so long.
The next memorable event would be Christmas. It was a very weird Christmas. As I said earlier, my brother went with my dad to see his parents in Somerset. I'd already promised to spend Christmas with Mum and her boyfriend (Rob) in Northampton. So the family was split over Christmas. For much of the day it was just Mum, Rob and I, although his daughters came over towards the end (who are much older than me by the way). I spent most of the day watching TV, enjoyed Shrek and Toy Story most of all. Had the traditional (eat til you can eat no more) Christmas dinner. I got some nice presents too, a book The Dark Tower by Stephen King, also an Alan Partridge DVD. Mostly I got money to help me through university.
The next day, of course, was my birthday. It was a day pretty much the same as Christmas (although without the large dinner). I was still in Northampton. Got more nice presents, watched some more TV. I should say I got a few phone calls from friends, including a ring and hang up from my ex-girlfriend, Antonella, who didn't have much credit. I was meant to be meeting my Dad in Milton Keynes in the afternoon, got a call from him telling me how ill he was so it was postponed. I stayed in Northampton, for what was to be Christmas 2.
Not many of Rob's relatives could make it on Christmas Day so the 27th was a second Christmas dinner. Needless to say, I couldn't finish it. My brother was working so unfortunately he couldn't come. I went home on the 28th and did very little for a few days.
Next was New Year's Eve, I had no plans but text Mary last minute and met up with her and some of her friends at the Rat and Parrot. I spent far too much money and got very very drunk. It was far better than spending New Year's Eve on my own.
One last thing, I met up with Jemma last Thursday at the Moon Under Water. I'd chatted with her on myspace before and she seemed really lovely (as well as gorgeous) and we arranged to meet. We ended up going to alternative night at Revolution and had a great time. Saw her again Monday, she's also studying at Northampton Uni and from Milton Keynes.
Anyways, I've written loads so i'm going to stop now. I think i've covered everything. I'd better get back to my assignment :D

People are going home! It's very scary, im soon going to be living in a ghost hall. I've decided to go back to Milton Keynes on Monday depending on when i'm working.
Have made plans to see Georgina on Thursday which should be nice. On Christmas Day i'll be over at Mum's although my brother will be at my Dad's. I'm really annoyed at my Dad for splitting the family up over Christmas.
On my birthday (26th December), i'll be popping back to Milton Keynes to see my Dad. Although i'll probably stay round Mum's most of the day, as being alone for most of my birthday doesn't appeal to me. It'll be nice to have a little break from university anyways.
I spent some time with Donna last night and some of her friends. We had a chinese which was nice, I couldn't eat the whole thing. I must therefore be eating a lot more than before as not so hungry. Was nice to see Donna before she goes. She's been a great friend to me these past weeks, when i've really needed a friend.
Today, i've done very little. Done the laundry, also paid some of my fees, so i'm back to being poor. However, i've not long left this term so it's not so bad. I also downloaded some ZX Spectrum games too, so i've had a small go on them.

I can finally relax.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, i'm having a few drinks with Donna to celebrate my birthday. Everyone else was busy but bah never-mind. Will be nice to see Donna, as we've both been too busy recently.

Today I have a mysterious itch swelling on my right hand. Not good! Maybe i'm allergic to something I touched. If so, it should go down soon hopefully.

Went to get my hair cut in Kingsthorpe but walk in appointments are Thursday and Friday. Darn. I'm starting to look hoboesque, so need to go again tomorrow.

Anyways people, it's my birthday on the 26TH DECEMBER! So forget Christmas cards, a birthday card would be lovely :D If a card's too much trouble I accept hugs and kisses too, or a good manly handshake/pat on the back if you're a guy. DO NOT give me a Christmas card with Happy Birthday discreetly written inside, or I will bite your head off. Thank You. :D

Saw hollive but she didnt say hi :P Had the socialist students meeting which went badly, went food shopping, came home.

Last night was rough though. Most people had gone home and the electricity in the flat had gone. So was bored rigid. Texted a few people, Alex, made me feel lots better. Though she's also home so she couldnt come over n say hi.

Today has been uneventful, worked at Argos which is never great. Went to Donna's for a bit in William Carey, took a short cut over the grass and WOOPS I fell over. So afters I had to handwash my jeans, as did all my washing yesterday and not spendin money washing 1 pair of jeans. grrrrr. Looking forward to tomorrow. Not much to do, Alex is gonna come over so we can get the Politics presentation sorted. Its on Monday and NOTHING is sorted. Looks like it'll be a disaster. The interview went ok but decided, in my infinite wisdom, to walk to avenue campus from town getting some exercise whilst saving money. So what did I do? Well I got lost of course!! So decided to go back into town, headed in the direction I thought was towards town and stumbled across St George's Avenue (Avenue Campus). Bear in mind I had my smart (painful) shoes on, which not only hurt but caused me to fall over twice! YES TWICE! Anyways not done much else, been a crud day really. Hope I get this job so I can actually go out and meet people. Will keep trying elsewhere though.

Got feedback for my Victorian Literature assignment today. Got a C-. Woulda been happy, but was told it was my sentance structure that dragged my mark down. Grrrr. Probably due to the last day rush to print it off and hand it in, forgetting to proof read it. Nevermind. Tis encouraging I guess.
Going to try to get at least half of my War and Revolutions assignment done now. Probably got 800 words of quotes at least, so shouldn't be tough.
As you can see, not an exciting day, will be happy when most of my assignment are done, and I can finally rest. :) Got a beer but no bottle opener. Grrrr, I really need one!

Having a very unexciting day. Finished my logbook assignment just now on Porphyria's Lover , a very disturbing poem.

The weather's horrible, was freezing last night. Lisa from Bath called me went outside as my flatmate was trying to sleep. Was great to hear from her, as don't hear from her often. Although she's had a hard time of things lately. Wish I could hug it all better for her, Bath's a bit of a walk though :P

I gotta do a newspaper thingy in the next logbook task. Should be simple. Gonna get back to doing nothing now :) May go and see the fireworks tonight but will have to see.

Hiya, here's a poem I love to share with people:

A Lemon

Out of lemon flowers
loosed
on the moonlight, love's
lashed and insatiable
essences,
sodden with fragrance,
the lemon tree's yellow
emerges,
the lemons
move down
from the tree's planetarium

Delicate merchandise!
The harbors are big with it-
bazaars
for the light and the
barbarous gold.
We open
the halves
of a miracle,
and a clotting of acids
brims
into the starry
divisions:
creation's
original juices,
irreducible, changeless,
alive:
so the freshness lives on
in a lemon,
in the sweet-smelling house of the rind,
the proportions, arcane and acerb.

Cutting the lemon
the knife
leaves a little cathedral:
alcoves unguessed by the eye
that open acidulous glass
to the light; topazes
riding the droplets,
altars,
aromatic facades.

So, while the hand
holds the cut of the lemon,
half a world
on a trencher,
the gold of the universe
wells
to your touch:
a cup yellow
with miracles,
a breast and a nipple
perfuming the earth;
a flashing made fruitage,
the diminutive fire of a planet.

Pablo Neruda

As i'm sure you can guess i'm not out tonight. Wish I had something to do. Unfortunately living in a twin flat in Simon Senlis Halls, with only me here doesn't help. My friend Lindsay's back home too so can't bug her to come over. Plus on top of that i'm exceedingly poor. I should go to the fireworks thing tomorrow though, as it's relatively cheap :) might get the odd burger too, if i'm feelin adventurous. Anyway plenty of spare time to get my war and revolutions essay done. Though i'll probably read my Stephen King book instead "Misery". I've tended to read Stephen King's stuff, thinking to myself in the end how is this horror? Not this book though, seems freaky from the beginning.
